Just fitted the K&N filter, took a couple of pics along the way to help anyone else interested in doing it
1. Crack the drivers side front wheel nuts (removing wheel isnt necessary but it makes access a bit easier), jack up and remove **AXLE STANDS SAVE LIVES**
2. If you choose to, remove the wheel to get to the splashguard screws. There's 5 in total, 2 at the back of the inner wing and 3 along the edge of the wheel arch, Philips screwdriver sorts these.
3. Pull the Splashguard aside or stand on your head and look under the bumper and you will see a round box tucked right at the front, this is the airbox,
loosen the 3x7mm bolts and give it a pull, then remove the filter element.
4. Compare your old and new filters to make sure they are the same and insert the new filter back into the airbox, reattach the cover and tighten the 3 bolts, move the splashguard back into place and screw back on, refit the wheel and Boabs yer mothers brother!
After putting it back together I ran the engine for about 10 mins to let the ecu adjust to the change in airflow, probably not necessary but where,s the harm
total time including dodging snowflakes about 30 mins
