With the 500 the only connection you can make with the free version is the CAN INFO "module" under the Body system.
What were you trying to connect to?

Well I got the free version then paid for the license.... I’ve swapped my speedo to a TFT display and I need to do a proxy alignment any ideas?

Go into settings on Multiecuscan then there should be a tab labeled interface

It says ODB2 but can’t find that on list?

You need to set to whatever type of interface you are using Most common is elm 327
Then set up in serial port usually it will only show up whatever port the cables is connected to then click the test button it should hopefully say success

Does the scan interfaces button at the bottom come up with it?

Try selection elm 327 from the drop-down box and set it to com port 3 as that what it says it's found it on
