OK!!
I own a Barchetta and while removing my rear discs and hubs for a good clean and service i had a thought and a question to ask.
Can someone more educated in the field of mechanics or knowledge of vehicles please tell me if it is possible to upgrade the front or rear wheel bearing hubs from that of a Barchetta to something of another vehicle, fiat or whatever.
say for example,
the rear wheel hub of the B with bearing has an inner width of 30mm which i belive to be the axle width, correct me if i,m wrong, and a pitch of 4x98. and uses a 240x11x39.5 disc and apropriate caliper
The rear of the new Grand punto is still 30mm but the pitch is 4x100. and uses a similar only larger disc and caliper
Now what i,m thinking and why is that on my particular Barchetta i,m running 4x100 17" wheels and have to use wobbly bolts, also another reason is maybe to be able to upgrade the disc size of the rears as the grand punto uses a disc size of 264x10x41 quite similar to that of the B only larger.
heres some links,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as i do need to replace mine and an upgrade would be better if possible.
Ive also posted this question in the Barchetta section so if anyone does know the answer to my query can you please post there as i,m sure others may want to know.
many thanks, Kiry aka KC3
