Hey guys, I have read may topics regarding fiat 500 not starting and tried many of them and still cant seem to figure it out. So I am turning to you guys for any advice.
My car is a 2010 fiat 500 Abarth, bone stock. I was driving, and the car suddenly turned off and turned back again. Then it was ok for some time. After a while car didnt turn on and sometimes it turned off while idling or driving. I took it to 2 really great mechanics (different shop), they put it on the tester and nothing came up. i took it home and wanted to drive it to the electric shop to check out if its something electrically related. Now it wont start at all.
I checked the sparks and they are sparking. i took the fuel off the rail and the fuel is pumping. Car is cranking really good. Battery is 98% healthy and fully charged. I did put the air cover off and sprayed some brake cleaner in it and the car started and ran really poorly and after a couple of seconds turned off again. So I removed the fuel rail and injectors. Clened them up and checked each one individually and they click when i put some electricity to them. I then resembled the rail and put it back in and nothing happened again. I did hear the fuel pump priming the rail and pressurizing it. after another failed attempt i then pulled the injectors out and while still on the rail and connected to power i observed the injectors while my friend tried to turn the car on. nothing happened, no fuel was spraying out of the injectors. now my question is if that is normal? i thought there would be fuel spraying out of the injectors when cranking the car.
do you guys have any other ideas what else i would need to check? i am really stuck here and dont know what else to do.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks
