Hi im trying to fit this aux cable but no idea what to do i ve plugged it in but i cant get onto the aux setting on the stereo theres a windows button on the steering wheel and i pressed it but just comes up saying voice onn radio. There is a windows usb connection in glove box and there is a small aux cable coming from the glove box to the back of radio but its not plugged into anything can someone please help.

First of all, what do you mean by not going to anything?
You'll need to get a USB drive and put a blank audio track on it. Software like Audacity can do this for you.Plug this into the windows USB port in the car and play this from inside the media settings on the radio. Connect your phone to the aux cable and it should patch it through.

Is it one of these after market AUX leads like the picture below? If so it just plugs into the back of the stereo we’re the label on your stereo says AUX, then you press CD Button on the stereo to change it from CD and AUX, that’s how it works on my mrs grande when I fitted hers, my advice would be go for a Bluetooth version

You need to quote us or we won't get a notification to reply.
You need to download Audacity then get it to produce the file. Alternatively you could search online for a 'silent audio track' and download it. I can't currently get mine as I am away from the Punto and it would be too large to email as I set mine for 3 hours.
As for the other person that replied, if you have Blue and Me that method does not work.
