Hi, My Wife's 2005 Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD just failed the MOT with excessive high emission readings, in point of fact the tester stated that the whole workshop filled with black smoke, and he also pointed out the black sooty deposits covering his floor.
So went home, and plugged the car into the computer running MultiEcuScan, And it showed fault code P0110, air temperature sensor high signal. I then checked further, and my air temperature was recorded as -34.5 C, and the voltage was 5V.
The MAF sensor was changed last July with a genuine Bosch unit, but I unplugged the MAF sensor surmising it had gone faulty, exactly the same readings, so I am wondering where to go next any help and advise will be gratefully accepted.
Many thanks in advance Peter
