Technical Fiat 500X DRL Bulbs

Hello All,

My partners Fiat has popped up this morning complaining about bulbs not working. On inspecting the car I can see one of the DRL is off and so looks to need a replacement. I can't seem to find too much info online however I assume they are P21W 21w ?

Secondly have many people done LED upgrades to them ? Does anyone have any recommended LED bulbs if so ?

Yes they are standard P21W bulbs.

The 21W bulbs have a habit of melting the bulb holders. Most Fiat dealer carry them as "essential" spares. I bought two a long time ago and have not used my yet as when you get the bulb holder out and the bulb removed then you can tease the metal side contact back into a good contact fit. I also put copper grease around the bulb base to improve heat transfer and reduce hot spots.

Just about any such LED will fit but as for legality and DRL required dim operation that is another matter.
