I was gonna come. But I made the mistake of putting my Punto into the Garage to get the cams swapped on the same day lol. All went well but after it was all back together the inlet manifold was leaking coolant . Didn't have a new gasket because its not something you normally need when changing cams!

So i've been given a K reg BMW 3 Series Estate to drive around in and didn't want to pay £1000 in petrol to go in the coupe .

they divs? inlet manifold dont have to be even moved to get cam carrier off. you only need the front locker in until its off.

Erm he didn't take it off to put the rear locker in....

He took it off because the inlet manifold is bolted to the cam carrier with a plastic brace:-

Unless we sawed through it the bloody thing had to come off!.
