I just came across (...) this page from D'Angelo Motori... a 1000cc 83hp engine for a 500 sounds just mad (and very expensive - €13k + VAT)! The 'basic' 650cc version has 32hp and costs €4k... still beyond my budget, I'm afraid

Look at his "cheaper" option----a 700cc engine producing 65bhp---and it is "Single over-head cam"! But it is only a shade under 12,000 Euros (excluding tax)

Whatever price you see on the website you can add on a minimum shipping charge of €60, that would apply to a single fibre washer so I hate to think what a complete engine would cost. Then you can add VAT at 20% on the cost of the item combined with the shipping cost the you can add any service charges that are applied for currency conversions and tax handling.

I've bought kit from his web, some nice items for sure. But if you need to put a 83 HP engine in your 500, then I think you're missing the point of the 500
