What is the best way to remove small dents without damaging the paint work.

I only have two small dents on the tailgate of my Fiat Grande Punto and would love to remove them.

Depending how deep you may be able to find somebody able to either pop them out, or use a hoover type thing to suck the dent out.

Wish it was that easy...

Heat panel HOT with hairdryer / heatgun (don't melt paint though! lol!) and then spray with CO2 can such as an aircan, old extinguisher etc.

The heat will cause the metal to expand, the cold from the CO2 will cause it to rapidly contract, and returns to original shape. Once back to normal temperature, polish off and done.

It is that easy! And it does work - plenty of people do it.

Well, I'll stick to chipsaway...have had very good results with their way of removing dents..

yes the heat and then chill dose work also consider the hot melt glue option which there are displayes on UTUBE where you hot melt a t piece onto the dent and then use a screw to slowly pull the dent flush i have used this method with good results and kits off ebay can be bought for about £8

You could also try one of those glass suction pads they sell on eBay if it's not on a curve
