As expected as this may have been, lay off him. Yeah was probably trying a backyard version of a canyon race off NFS carbon but every1 makes mistakes and learns from them. The only way your going to know the limits of a car is to push them. He just went slightly ott, its been done a fair few times, and not just by us "young un's".
As for trying to red-line it past cops, well thats just plain crazy but they pulled him, he might get points soon and he's only allowd 6 don't forget. At the end of the day its up to him if he values his liscence or not.

ypoung men still cause more deaths on the road than any other drivers though.

he only slid a few feet in the wet, can happen to anyone especially if you been learning to drive in a car with abs then your first car does not have it
:yeahthat: i almost smashed into a parked car on a road after having to brake from the grand speed of 20mph on a very slippery road. wheels locked up and just sledged towards said car. luckily managed to pump the brakes to bring it to a stop. but it's very unnerving when you first do it. everything is telling you not to take your foot off the brake yet you have to. once you done it once though next time it happens it's your passengers who're the most scared. :slayer:
