Technical Cost of Clutch Master Cylinder

Good morning all, I have a 2018 Ducato with Comfortmatic which has a Clutch Issue,

I have just been quoted 1900 euros to replace the clutch, I’m in Finland and that is quite reasonable, and it includes inspecting the Master Cylinder.
But they have then quoted me an additional 1700 euros if the Master Cylinder needs replacing,

Is the Master Cylinder really that expensive? The gearbox is is already out of the vehicle for the clutch replacement, so this is mostly parts, but seems a very expensive Master Cylinder! I was under the impression it is the same Master Cylinder as fitted to the full manual gearbox?

It is not the same master cylinder as in manual cars.

You can probably find some cost examples by googling the part number 71751001

(The slave cylinder is the same (or close to) in manual and Comfortmatic cars)
