General Catch Can Advise

Hey folks. So my 1.2 8V was pretty gunked up throughout the breather from the rocker cover to the intake included. I've since cleaned it out but was wondering if a catch can would be of help on this engine. I plan on replacing the stock air filter with a cone in the big open space on the left of the engine and using a catch can. Just looking for some advise from people who have done it and pictures if you've got them.
