Hello! I own a 2009 fiat grande punto 1.2 diesel,
I recently lost my car keys and had new ones cut and programmed by AA, I've since lost this set of keys but my old keys were handed in.
As part of the AA service I believe they 'deactivate' old car keys, would I be able to reprogram my old car keys to work again with my car? or is it something fundamentally different inside of the key.
I dont think they had to replace any locks so I presume I'll still be able to use my key to open doors etc but will this cause the immobilizer to activate?
