Cable clip removal help please

Hi does anyone know how to remove this little green clip so I can remove the cable from the handle to the door lock, it’s a 2018 fiat Ducato but I’m hoping it’s a general type of cable clip, it’s got me baffled and I’m one clip away from removing the door lock but don’t want to break it.

Thats different to ones Ive seen..

But LOOKS like it should pivot around.. enabling the cable to unhook

Does that look feasible?

It’s so hard to tell as it’s within the plastic frame work, I might try gently easing it anti-clockwise and see it the top green bit pivots off anti-clockwise as you suggest

Just found the same clip on eBay , I’m stead of trying to clip the top off you “ turn” it anti lock wise and it should pop out of the open edge, going to try now

Thats what I meant..

The cable fixing pin will be slightly pinched by your coloured clip
( like the business end of a clothes peg..)
Gently prise that open and it should pivot within the steel parts hole

Clips is one thing that often gets us all fired up.

However I find the myriad of electrical connectors with lift, push, lever, waggle, hope and pray release mechanisms really frustrating. Worse still these are just about always in inaccessible places or angles, not obvious and defy our human fingers.

If only they were like the old Bra adverts .... "Lift and Separate" .... in our dreams
