I'm looking at a cheap, low maintenance run-around while I re-fix my poorly Alfa 145 (the winter weather is not enticing me to go outdoors and spanner, so not a lot of progress at the moment..
)
I may have the opportunity to purchase a fairly tidy Stilo JTD for a bag of chips and some glass beads.
Other than it has a diesel engine (I never thought I'd succumb to the lure of the dark side ) the beast looks and seems okay, albeit without having seen it - new belt and pump, all servicing done, new glow worm etc.
What else should I look for, other than usual car stuff (tyres, exhausts, shocks, brakes etc.)? What's the Stilo JTD "gotchas"?
