Hello,

I have a problem with my Abarth. Today in the morning I started to drive to job. But I've got an Gearbox error and it was using only two gears. After driving a couple km everything was good. Gears was changing good and an error disappeared.

What happened?

Thank you

I'm going to replace the accumulator today, I'm having the age old intermittent problem with the car dropping into neutral. I'm going to use the advice I've seen on here for it.

I've also got new bushes for the pump, but I can't see an obvious way to get access to it, I'm going to see if I can get to it from the wheel arch

I pulled the top off my pump when I did the clutch but found the brushes OK and just reassembled. If just doing the accumulator I wouldn't bother touching pump.

You have seen my guide?

hi maigretnz, with the issues I've been having I had narrowed it down to the either accumulator losing pressure or pump not running, so I followed your guide to change the accumulator. the only thing I did differently was to remove pump relay because I couldnt get to get plug for the pump. Your guide was a massive help thanks.

After I replaced the accumulator I checked the operation on multiecu thingy and found that my pump kicks in @ 40 bar and out @ 50 bar. I still have the fault though because I monitored the pressure dropping to 35 bar and the pump relay switching to on and the pressure still not rising. Then you notice the pump relay switching off for a few seconds before trying again to bring the pump back in.

So unfortunately for me I've now got the less than straightforward job of getting to the pump.

Oh happy days lol
