I have tried searching and cant quite find a solution to my problem so was hopeing someone could help or give any advice on what to check ?


My problem started a couple of weeks ago where I changed my radiator pipes prior to doing this all was well and once changed took the car for a drive now I do not have any boost.


I noticed when the no boost fault issue started I seen smoke from from the exhaust which turned out to be a blown oil seal in the turbo which has now been replaced with a new turbo.


Now the new turbo has been fitted I still have no boost but the smoke has cleared.


I have changed the MAF sensor Air Filter and I can also hear the turbo spooling but it just isn't producing any boost at all just feels as tho its a normal diesel.


I did also try a manual boost controller and also linking the boost pipes incase it was the solenoid but the issue remains.


I have noticed tho if I rev it to 3k or just over 3k rpm I only generate 3 -5 PSI where previously I was running 22PSI and the turbo would come in at around 1200RPM

there is a boost sensor in your innerwing - or bolted to your battrey tray , this is common to get water in and then it fails , then it makes you have no boost

thanks for the advice i have solved the boost issue i had a hole in a vac pipe and i do think my solonoid is broke as no boost when connected so i have tempoary linked the two pipes together bypassing the solonoid.

i do however hava a major boost leak from the intercooler pipes as when boosting you can hear it sucking so i think the pipe to the turbo is split sounds like a dump valve when i change gear too

Common fault turbo intercooler rubber hose rubs on inner plastic wing nearside about £167 to buy whole pipe, or use tiger seal and cut another hose same size and stick the cut hose round the split hose and leave to go off about 12hrs save £167
