Hello!
I was searching this forum for the symptoms my car is showing, but as I wasn´t succesfull, I´ll try to describe what I am dealing with.
I ´ve got stilo MW 1.9 JTD 2004 85 kW 192A1000. When I turn the key to pre-final position before starting the car, ABS light comes on with warning connection loose. Then I start the car. Light sometimes goes off, sometimes it doesn´t. As I´m driving the light flashes sometimes.
Also, sometimes I get red steering wheel light + red exclamation mark + orange exclamation mark in a triangle. When this happens, turning the steering wheels feels easier and also the car won´t accelerate properly. It feels very lazy. This faults are sometimes accompanied with drops of speedometer, rev counter, and even water temperature meter. All these faults are shown with ENGINE FAULT warning with the orange engine light.
I have new battery, new alternator, car isn´t smoking black or blue smoke, consumption is cca 5,3 l/100km.
Error messages and faults are not related to rain, temperature, season, time, warmed or cool engine, bumps or anything I could think of.
I am not looking for a solution like buy a new dashboard and so on...I really want to fix the thing that is responsible for the faults.
Please help. And sorry for my english, I´m not from eng. speaking country.
