Since sunday the car has not been driven at all, come and start the car this morning, and the gearbox seems to be right off

its really hard to put into the gears, real stiff like, esp from 5th to 4th and 2nd to 3rd

I dont see how this has happened any ideas guys?

Sounds like the clutch might be on the way out, how many miles has it done? Do you drive it hard??

My Bravo clutch went recently, wouldnt go into any gears with the engine running but would with the engine off.

Coming upto 50,000 miles. And it does it with the engine on and off

Main problem seems to be when putting the car back into nuetral it does not go to the middle of the box, like it used to.

If you mean it's difficult to move the gearshift from left to right and finding the mid position lining up for 3rd and 4th gears rather than selecting the gears themselves with the forward and back motion then it'll most likely be corrosion in the selector simply needs some lub or cleaning up.
