Hi everybody, I had my first service earlier this week at northgate fiat in Canterbury.

Booking the car in was easy and painless,with a quote of £189, dropped it off tuesday morning and enjoyed there free coffee and wifi for a couple of hours then the good bit, the bill of £150. And they didn't clean it, result.

Well I've had my little White rocket for just over 6 months now and have covered just over 12000 miles. It's a great car,the handling is very good though the ride is a little harsh, but then you all new that. The stereo is good,the seats are comfy and there's enough room for 4adults.
BUT the worse bit is the stupid piddly fuel tank, I'm hoping that someone will be doing a how to guide to fit the bigger tank from the us 500.

All in it's a good car that's cheap to buy to insure and to service Though the 43.9mpg average is a bit optimistic.and the small fuel tank. Maybe I'm spoilt as I came from a espace that had a 83 litre tank and the wifes merc a200cdi that easily covers 600 miles to a tank.

Looked on the longterm fuel computer(b) and I'm averaging 35.8 mpg.

Good info cheers! Making me search harder..... I'm on the lookout for a 100HP, but can't seem to find a decent one within 100 miles! lol

On the outskirts of Hull (willing to travel tho!). Have you got pics/info on a thread here? All the ones around me seem a bit on the expensive side (dealers!)

Is the tank bigger in the USA, or is it simply that an American gallon is smaller than an English gallon, so they can get 'more' in to the same sized tank?

Ah, just looked and yes, I see it does have a larger tank, but only by less than 5 litres (the 10.5 US gallons comes out as 39.7 litres, compared to the standard 35).
My poor 4x4 only holds 30 litres as the tank is reduced to allow the propshaft to pass under it.
