In answer to the thread title....Yup as it generally properly grim in winter up north as the news article handily highlights.

However going prepared tends to be very annoying, as if everyone is stuck in a car park and you're the only one with rubber mats, a shovel and Tyre socks then it's either gonna be a long night or you're gonna get some evil looks as you drive out while people attempt to dig their cars out with ice scrapers...:devil:

Thats the fun of winter tyres just get in deice and drive off..... The looks you get :devil:

And somewhere i have to say a troll face is somewhat appropiate

Failing the winter tyres not been able to work properly - slap on the snow socks / chains and drive out
