I have seen a full interior on ebay that i would like to buy to replace an interior in another car that i have.
with him being local (ok 25 miles away!) i asked if i could view before bidding to make sure its fine, and for a 10yr old interior its spot on. the seller no longer has the car it was in as it had to be scrapped as due to MOT (probably crashed, i know!).
now not wanting to be stereotypical this guy was a bit, well, rough, but seemed sound. most people have been happy with him on ebay selling although his feedback took a knock as he mispriced an item that he refused to sell and someone moaned about postage costs and the item, which he says on there he refunded. (how can 2 items of negative feedback out of 100+ items equal 66% feedback?)
now he seemed keen to accept cash and do the sale outside of ebay, but also said he is happy for me to go through ebay and pay cash on me picking up the items.
not really bought anything this big of ebay before and if i buy outside of ebay am i doing the wrong thing? if i use ebay and pay cash is that still wrong?
