Just a little rant really to show my disappointment in the M32's awful performance . I honestly can't believe fiat still use and with all the issues and why there is no recalls or good will for the box ?

Mine started off with a whine in 1st and 2nd , then started rumbling at 40mph in 5th then on lift off in 6th , then gave up completely the box just locked up , all in the space of 3months !

So thankyou RAC ! I have warranty ...

So i Got the box out today (took me 3hours not to bad I don't think ) Then sent it of to a company called car gears in woodley Berkshire , they had it stripped within an hour of getting it ! Bad news it needs £800 of bearings and gears ouch ! Suddenly mr RAC man decides he doesn't want to pay now and there coming out to inspect the box tommrow . I really hope that they pay ! But in my eyes if they was going to say no they wouldn't bother coming out just checking there not being mugged I Suposse !

So I'm going to fill it with a decent gl4 spec shock proof gear oil can't think of the products name right now and with a nearly new box with 12months warranty I will see how it lasts !

Rant over just such a **** box lets the whole car down .....

Yep, one of the biggest let downs of any car with a M32 box.

Good luck with that warranty, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Any excuse they find not to pay out and they wont! Bearings are classed as wear and tear with most! Mine wasn't covered

Set me back £800 for full rebuild and im sure I have just heard 4th gear grinding again when I come into work this morning, its only done 4k!

They appear to be made of cheese. Mine was replaced under warranty last August due to whining, 7 months later, it's going back in this week for another box as this one has play in gear. Can't fault fiats extended warranty

Mines just had all 6 bearings replaced at the dealers. At a cost of over £1300. Cars done 50 000 miles. Luckily warranty direct were brilliant. Paid it all bar the £50 excess. At the same time I had a new clutch put in.

However a month later I now have the death rattle of the dual mass flywheel. So back in again today. I hope warranty direct honour this one to.
