You may have noticed a new field when you make a post now titled "Tags".

5 links will have appeared at the bottom of the forum pages - they're completely random and might have no relevance to the FF whatsoever, however should help with SEO ...

Feel free to ignore them totally

 

To stop massive picture links stuffing up the forum, there's now a new add on installed which javascript resizes them if they go over 570 pixels (which will fit in the classic look)

If you want to change the behavior of this, go to User CP > Options, when you can modify (or remove) this feature...

 

As requested, the shop has now been updated with 4 new styles of hats - so hopefully something for everyone

Also the postage costing has been revised and is now at a fixed £3.50, regardless of how many items you order, it was just getting too complicated before to work the pricing out.

 

Ad inventory should be complete now - the navbar bits seem to be working well, and I assume everyone would be happier as less space is taken up now than before

The last thing I'm looking at are Pop Unders. So called as they go under the current window, instead of on top (which would be...

 

The unregistered users and the adsense is working well, but registered users click a whole lot less (understandable) - so have injected a Tribal Fusion CPM into the fix (it shows up 1 in 4 times) - which pays per view, not click.

Will evaluate and see how this works out over the next week

 

We've been accepted onto the Tribal Fusion advert network, who provide banners on a CPM basis (they pay per 1000 impressions).

It's only visible for non-registered users and fits in nicely next to the horrible massive adsense block However, at least the page looks even now ...

Google ads are no longer shown in the top banner - it is now exclusive for official FF advertisers - making way for some bigger and better things for you guys

 

Set alignments on the boxes in the classifieds search on the homepage - looks much smarter now

 

Classifieds now accepts (though cannot use) full UK postcodes, so it doesn't matter which you type, it will format them correctly for you.

US Zipcodes now fully supported - for all (3 - lol) of our American members

 

You might notice some ads appearing (and disappearing) in various places over the next few days, this is due to the server costs finally taking their toll on my wallet, so need a way to try and recover some of them.

Guests get a (not so nice) square banner at the top now, though this goes when...

 

Long overdue I know, but clothing has now been sorted out and is available for purchase RIGHT NOW from the online shop!

Sorry there aren't actually photos up of each item, but we haven't ordered them all - so don't have items to photo I will be contacting people who make orders asking...

After a week of testing, I'm happy to say the blogging section is now live (see link at the top).

If you do any work on your car, that doesn't really warrant a thread, or if you just want to keep a dated report on any projects you are doing (where people can leave comments, like, well, a blog)...

 

Inserting your gallery uploads in now a breeze thanks to the new "Popup insert".

Once you have the images in your gallery, when using a New Thread or Reply feature, have a look under the smiley box and you will see "My Gallery Pics".

Click the [Open] link and all your gallery items will appear -...

 

Updated VBSEO to the latest RC which has fixed a few small bugs here and there, no extra features, but should solve a few of the time outs.

 

Another minor update gone through to make the classifieds now pretty much complete.

After a shake up the other week, the wanted section was split by model (to bring it in line with it's "For Sale" brother) - so if you are looking for any parts for your beloved, now is a great time to get them...

 

Welcome people to your new home

What are you talking about I hear you say? Well, we'd come to notice as of late the forum has started to crawl - a victim of our own success you might say - and something had to be done

Well, as of yesterday - we moved into our new home, a nice friendly...

 

In preparation for the move to the new server, the gallery and attachments system will be disabled so the data can be moved across (a 20 hour or so upload!)

Obviously if it wasn't disabled, it could keep changing, so wouldn't be up to date on the new system.

Expect it back around Wednesday

 

Well with the success of the temp shop, we have now got the software for a shop on this site.

People can only order using paypal, any problems or you want to send cheques then please PM me - but paypal is much easier all round.
