Hi!

How does one properly disconnect these "#¤¤#¤ connectors for fuel filter change? (UFI 55.148.00)

I've head that you should press the white part with these red pliers (bergen-tools-fuel-coupling-pliers) and then the fuel line should pull out but does anyone know for sure.

The white part itself won't move back or forth.

Thank you for all the help!

No need for any special tools.

Push the hose towards the filter body.
Grip the grey/white collar between thumb and forefinger and push it towards the filter body.
Pull back on the hose and it should detach.

Thank you for the reply, I'll try that. The white plastic part does not move much to the "right" but pushing the hose in first has something to do with the success.

Do I need to push the white part in with thumb and forefinger, or just slide the white ring towards the housing?

Apologies but I'm not sure what you're asking.

The grey collar is part of the filter housing.
Pushing the hose towards the housing makes it easier to move the collar.
Then just push the collar towards the housing and pull back on the hose.

The attached pictures (not mine) show the collar in its 2 positions.
I hope that helps.
