Does anyone know if its possible to fit a Caravanstore sun canopy ,the one that rolls up into a bag fixed to the side of the roof. If someone has fitted one could you please tell me how to fit one to a 2004 ducato lwb high top. All info gratefully received.

These are designed for caravans and slide into the awning rail so to fit one you will need to source and fit a suitable length of aluminiun awning rail to the van roof.

Alternatively if you just want a sun canopy it may be neater and easier to purchase a purpose made wind-out awning for your van. Fiamma will supply one with a fitting kit specifically for your model of van.

I have contemplated buying the wind out awning you referred to. Compared to the caravanstore one they are quite expensive and as we will only be using it on the odd occasion it seems a bit of a waste of money.I'm sure I saw a ducato van like mine a couple of years ago with a sun canopy similar to the caravanstore fitted with one but thanks for your reply and perhaps I will have to go for the fiamma in the end.
