I have a Fiat Ducato 3.0 2008 Motorhome and am experiencing a problem with the front offside (Driver Side) indicator. When I indicate right or switch on the Hazard Warning light, the lamp does not illuminate, the mirror and rear lamp flash as normal. The dash indicates a lamp problem and flashes quicker than normal indicating a build failure.

If I leave the door of the van open and attempt to lock the van, the front indicator lamps flash indicating that the door is open. I therefore know the lamp is OK because it works in this instance.

I have tried to find the fuse which feeds the indicator circuit and it doesn't appear to be referenced in the user manual supplied. I suspect that this is not the problem as I would think all the offside indicators would not work.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Ewan,

Did you get this fixed eventually and if so what was the fix? I'm experiencing the same problem with my Ducato 160 x250.

Many thanks for your reply!

Regards,
Erik

Hi Erik,

I started checking and they started working and have worked since. I did not do anything to sort the problem, it simply went away.

Sorry I cant be of more help.

Regards,

Ewan

The indicator stalk is connected directly into the Body Computer which switches the relevant lamp on.

Personally I would suspect the plug / socket to the RH headlight unit even though it appears ok when the alarm is set.
