on my way home last night my ducato started to lose power and felt like it was kinda stuttery. managed to limp it home, but not too sure what the fault is. was thinking possibly a blocked diesel injector but wud just like some thoughts before i start hauling it apart!

Hi & Welcome here! Assuming the vehicle has been kept regularly & properly serviced, try unplugging the MAF sensor temporarily, have a quick drive & see if performance returns. If so, the chances are its the MAF sensor. Likely culprits are the MAF sensor or the EGR, outside chance it may be turbo or other such ancilliaries like associated pipework, actuator & so on. You need to eliminate the possibilities... has the EML come on on the dash?.

Plenty of Posts in here on this subject if you try a Search using those terms as your Search criteria.

thanks for that. nothing has come on in the dash at all to signal a fault anywhere.
i'll get that disconnected tomorrow and see if it stops it.
bloody things actually started and full revved tonight and it wudnt do that last night. put in a diesel treatment too just in case injectors were dirty. i'll let you know the outcome, thanks for ur help

Sounds like EGR to me, blank it off, cost nothing but 1hour of your time.
