Where do I begin? Ducato 2.8 2004. Will not start. Put a new battery on 1 week ago because sounded like battery was dead, even after a good charge. After putting new battery on van started first time. Left van standing for 1 week. Van started. We travelled 150 plus miles north for the weekend. Stopped and started several times without any due worries. Got home yesterday, parked the van to unload and would the van start again? No. Sounds like it has a flat battery. No dash warning lights on. Dash instruments spring into life. Took starter motor off and tried to spin it with jump leads. Nothing. However, when reconnecting battery without starter motor, relay T14 clicks in the engine fuse box and an ammeter registers current being drawn. Can't tell how much because it only reads mAmps. So, do I have a worn out starter motor and/or something drawing current, even when driving to flatten the battery? Or something else. Must also add that I swapped relays and it still clicked when reconnecting the battery. What does relay T14 do?

Measure battery voltage off load? Measure battery current when connected but nothing on (should be around 40 mA or less)? If the standby current is high, you do have a drain problem so its then a matter of isolating various parts of the circuit (pulling fuses) until you find it disappearing.
