hi guys, seem to have an ant nest in my car :/ everytime i drive they randomly crawl out of the vents and across my dashboard. i have been doing some research and come across a solution called nippon which is an ant killer, however i just wondered if there was another way to kill the little chuffs! also, would have no idea of where to put the repellent -_-

Ant powder is far more effective. The worker ants take it back into the nest and it kills the lot. Nippon is a sticky sugar poison to ants but only kills the ones who eat it. Yes over time the colony will die but not as quick as powder. Just put a small amount of whatever you choose on a known ant path. Obviously don't put either into the vents.

Ant powder in the vents...fine until somebody sticks the blower on lol

I've used the little ant-bait station thingy-mu-jigs at home to good effect.

Stopped the problem much quicker than any other methods I've tried.

Place as near as you can to the busiest vent.

Trust me a car is a top ant house! Always supplys of water, nectar, food and vegetation. Had an old Sherpa van at work years ago which was nick named 'the ant house' as it was over run with the bloody things. Ant powder all the way, really is the quickest and surest way.
