I have a 2008 Bravo and an iPhone 5S. Up to and including iOS 9, B&Me worked fine, I was paired and could make calls.


I updated to iOS 10.0.2 and I can no longer connect. I tried deleting all user data, re-pairing, still no luck - put PIN into phone and it just spins for ages then says "Connection Unsuccessful". Tried a friend's iPhone 7 on iOS 10.1 Beta, same problem.


Decided to update Blue&Me, which I've never done. Downloaded the files to the root of a FAT32 USB stick, followed the instructions, but when I turn on ignition, I never get a message on screen about "Update In Progress" and no BMConf.xml file gets written to the USB.


I tried a different USB, no luck. The files are definitely in the right place, i.e. the root of the USB.


The USB socket works, as the light on the USB stick comes on when plugged in.


What's also weird is that in my Blue&Me menu, I have a "Resume Update" option, and when I choose it it says "Update" and the car beeps, but nothing happens after that, no message, nothing.


Any ideas?
