STOP - Teasing.... I am so glad you posted this thread as this is teaching me some good stuff.

When do you plan to re trim it? and when you do will it be leather and how much?

I am thinking of removing the glove compartment and making a subtle TVR type dash, cream leather with green stitching (Green to match the car before any comments start)

So any advice is coooooool.... :yum::worship::chin:

:D

Glad to hear that you find this useful.. (y)

what comes to re-trimming, in my dreams it will be black leather / fake leather with some chrome detailing, I like to keep it simple and fresh looking. :)

I'm planning to re-trim door panels/center console/arm rest/tank cover with same material. I kind of have 4.5m x 1.4m piece of black fake leather on hold. Have to check if its good for this purpose.

Damn, I hope that I would have a clove compartment .. :D ;) many opportunities with that.. ;)

That TVR style dash sounds kind of interesting, waiting for to see it! (y)

Pics like promised.. I changed the design little bit.. :)

woOow.... woOow.... woOow... (like Bart Simpson spinning on rope for drying laundry)

what did you use for trimming? a fake leather? is it stretch-able? because i bought some fake leather, and is pain to bend it... it wrinkle a lot... i need to find something more stretchable but still looks like leather. it's easy on flat surfaces but on bends, bumps and
hollows is impossible... maybe I'm doing something wrong... maybe i should heat it?

ohh nice you are making me a little jealous, cant wait to see the finshed job :)

:D thanks! (y)

I used fake leather and it is actually pretty stretch-able, but still I had to make that re-trim from 3 or 4 pieces.. seller who sold that said that it could be heated little to get it bend/stretch better. (y)

I was today in the "zone" re-trimming dashboard but run out of glue... :bang:

I decided to install rear view camera and start finding place for front camera.

little adjustment needed.. :D

Nice work!! :)
keep it up and looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Thanks!.. (y)

Dashboard is still in progress, didn't end up looking so good that I imagined.. maybe I'm not much of an re-trimmer.. couple miss cuts and panic solutions, you know the result..

what do different? next time I will hire a pro to do that for me.. :D

pics will follow when dash is back on b..

and then those dash pics.. Like I says I'm not much of an re-trimmer.. (don't beat me.. ) but I have a plan.. If that system will work flawless next summer I will find some pro to re-trim it again during next winter. :)

Tuv cerf says that it will fall -35mm (-) -65mm with that kit. Have to wait for summer to get it adjusted properly.. :)

Car-pc is waiting for its last component (for now), had to order new front cam since boys in honkong send me wrong cam last time..

More pics will follow as soon as I get b ready and have time to give it a good cleanup.. :D

HIYA! :)

Nice work, be great to see the B riding low.. I want mine to go lower, but dread droping into any pot holes... Curious to see how you get on with yr kit... Keep the good work up. :D or should i say low.....:p

Hi! :D
I'm a little bit curious too how I get on with that kit..

what alloys 'n' tires you bought? i'm thinking for buying Barums 205/40-17.
btw: i see you also have a lot of space in garage... half meter on both sides.

Those are XTREME X3 alloys with Nexen N7000 tyres (I know they are cheap.. but I have read couple good reviews of them and decide to try them out), it's good time to buy summer wheels now.. :D (70-80cm of snow and more coming.. :slayer:)

Yeah.. its nice to have so much space in garage, isn't it? ;) :D

Wow! looking fantastic, :D

and 17.5 x 17" rims, OOH! just what i want..

i,m curious what offset they have and how low you will go with the B..

Im riding on 17x7 rims with 35 offset. lowered 30mm, and 15mm spacers on the rear.

would love to have her sitting a l;ittle lower and maye with a wider rim.

how are you getting on with the coilovers. are they height and damper adjustable, what is the ride like. and do you have the eibach antirollbar kit too.

Those new wheels are actually same size than those alessios I have under b right now, and if I remember correctly offset was 35 + stock spacers.

that FK kit is only height adjustable, I was supposed to get that fully adjustable kit but this is what I got now..

can't really review ride yet since b is in garage and we have here ~80cm of snow.. :D but I will write little review as soon as summer comes and I get wheel angles adjusted..

That eibach arb kit is on the list.. but I promised my self that no more €€€ (read big) mods before summer and cambelt change.. :)

were you happy with the Alesios? well stupid question since you are changing them... I find that mine are too soft and bend easily in potholes...

Actually I was, I think they are good quality wheels. Problem was that I bought them used and they where in pretty bad condition.. :(

If I would find new set of similar alessios I would bought them, think they have more character(?) than those new ones..

I'm planning to get those alessios fixed and painted someday in future..
