General Barchetta -97 project

Summer is finaly coming!

Cambelt change booked and thinking of taking b back to roads during next week if weather is good!

Sure I have to get new battery before that.. Any good suggestions?

Hankook Kalsium is off from the list, didn't even last one year (same happened to one friend of mine..) :bang:

Ok, b is out of garage..

Wheel angles are totally f****d up right now, adjust booked for thursday..

Now there is this hard part.. How low should I go..

When I installed those FK's I measured that every corner was on same height, from wheel center > body..

At rear setting is now on max/lowest and rear there is ½ more to go..
I would love to drop front another ~1cm but.. according to Finnish laws there should be at least 8cm to road at lowest point of car. :doh:

Right now there is 8.5cm to road at lowest point (exhaust.. (exhaus littlebit in progress.. ) ) and it will drop more when I put more km's to clock.. :spin:

Have to try to adjust that height before thursday..

This is getting frustrating..

You should have retired further south....

Must admit I would love to see snow here (but only if the B was parked safely in the garage)! ... when it rains there is carnage on the roads.. if it snowed all hell would break loose...

It's been a while since I last time wrote here! almost 5 months..

Nothing big on mods during summer time, I just have been enjoying top down driving..

b is working well, only have to get wheel angles checked again, damn those lousy roads..

b is workin well, MOT passed without any problems!..
OEM front fog lamps waiting to get installed, little engine clean up and couple other small things done..

I will upload some fresh pics when I have those fog lamps installed.

I'ts been a while since I last time write here..
I kind of have run out of time and haven't had time to play with b, but I'm happy to say everything is ok.

There is something going on with b's dashboard (again) and interior :

More pics will follow when I have time work with this..

a couple more things I have ordered for b :
- fuel filter
- new air filter
- Imasaf sport back box (aim with this is to get a little bit quiet sounds and perfect fit, sure I will leave that sebring back box to shelf if I change my mind.. )
- NGK Iridium spark plugs

I'll try to update this thread more often..

Yep, I'm going to use that same car-pc setup that I have had on b.
Dvd, gps, internet, wlan, bluetooth, front bullet camera and the list goes on..
I kind of have run out of imagination and can't figure out what else would be needed..

Good news is that I think I will receive that Imasaf back box on this week. more about that when I have it on place and b out of garage..

b is slowly coming back to one piece.. I will add pics later.
but it seems like b is going to stay in garage this summer..

Bought this for hobby/daily driving and it will need a lot of work..

Punto GT -97, claimed to have 210hp, will see about that..

Wow, took me little time to reply!..

Can't argue with that, sure it's fun car to drive.. (little drifferent way than b).

But the thing is, there would be so much to do.
I haven't even had time to put b back together yet.
and when I will get it back to one piece, it's GT's turn to go to garage..
