Hey,

thought id join this forum as ive ordered a Fiat and looking forward to getting it.

Ive been told that it should arrive at the end of Feb/Start of March

its just a 1.2 Pop, bosanova white, Ivory/blue interior.

Looking forward to getting it, my first car, buying it with my girlfriend, she loved the showroom model.

Does this model come with the USB thingy as standard? or is that part of the Blue&Me package?

Strange that one... maybe they do have a heater element? You don't have to add colour coded mirrors when seccing standard air conditioning.

You have to add the leather steering wheel when going for Blue & Me because the B&Me interface is controlled through the (multi-function) leather steering wheel :)

The wing mirrors with sbrinamento (IT), degivrants (FR) or defrost (EN) :D are standard on Sport and Lounge and an option on Pop and seem to be option code 041.

Linked options - 041 (body coloured wing mirrors with defrost) with 140 (auto climate control) and 407 (dualogic)

Incompatible options - 041 and 129 which I can't find in the options list.

Regards,
Tony.

crazer_bazer tell us more about the one U have got already.
You have put a deposit down or actually got a dealers demo?

Also it's another good chance for U to say how U might be able to help us get hold of a 500. You sell them don't U?

Hv U tried driving a 1.2 or 1.3 matey or only the 1.4 yet.Want to know how they compare acceleration and so on.

1.2 versus 1.3Diesel?
1.4 versus 1.3Diesel
Much difference there?
Figs suggest 1.3 better than 1.2 petrol, worse than the 1.4 petrol.
Old James May didnae like the 1.3Diesel much at all.
(Yes I know they are heavier.)
Was it hAMMOND who suggested 1.2 the best bet overall, better than 1.3 anyroooad!

It's relevant to the thread as some of us wont put a deposit down on a car til we've tried a few  and 1.2s only available for you fiat peeps at the mo.:)

I would have a 1.2 over either, I honestly feel that the £1400 extra is way too much, should be nearer £900 as you get nothing else extra. Also, I like 8v engines as opposed to 16v, better torque and that low down.
Tried finding them at my local dealer, non about, they must be well hidden!

Mainly 1.4s at dealers.
1.3s coming thro

1.2s only for the dealers and official special peeps to try out at the moment.
How can peeps make an informaed decision if they cant try all 3 engine sizes?:bang:

I agree, its awful... its not just power either, the 1.2 maybe a totally different sound too.
Maybe Fiat dont want people spending ONLY £7900 for a 1.2 Pop!!!

If you look at Panda pricing, a 1.3 is exactly £1000 more than a 1.2, so why is the same engine upgrade £400 more for a 500... thats just wrong:(
