If any one knows anything about setting the valve clearance on a 1974 Fiat X1/9 please offer some information. The car was broke down for about ten years before I went back to fix it. It runs but something just isn't right. I had to put new valves in the head, so is it possible that is the problem? Also my headlights did work but now they come on but don't raise up. There is a clicking noise that comes from the headlight motor area every time I hook the battery back up, kinda sounds like a relay. I know very little about these cars so forgive me if these are things that should be common knowledge.
