Hi All,
A question about the X1/9 digital dash clock.
When we purchased our X I noted it had an GM analogue clock in it. I purchased a genuine Fiat clock from eBay. The Fiat clock works, but I have noted when I turned off the ignition and back on again, I had to reset the clock.
Is there a sequence with the two buttons to keep the time on the digital clock set?
Thanks Wayne

The clock should have two power sources - a permanent live and an ignition-on only.

Either the two wires are crossed or the permanent live is either fused or disconnected.

Hi Jimbro,
Again thanks for your help..
The digital clock is wired with a genuine plug and I simply plugged it into the plug that the analogue clock was hard wired into. So I therefore assume the fault could be elsewhere?

Assuming that the clock itself doesn't have a fault I would say your deduction is accurate. All you can do is check the pins in the plug (chassis side) and make sure they behave as they should. If they do then the clock itself may be at fault (very rare but not impossible - normally the led segments fail if anything).
