Ouch!
Ouch!
The previous owner was a lady in her 60’s who sold it to fund her sewing business!
Are you for real? :bang:
The guy is clearly an enthusiast. It's a rare(ish) car. It's not 1998 and he's not restricted to 150 characters in Auto Trader magazine.
I sold my Clio 197 F1 last month. I listed almost everything I knew about the car and my advert was over an A4 page long. I sold the car to another enthusiast in less than a week at a decent price despite there having been lots of other comparable cars up that didn't appear to be enthusiast owned or had **** adverts.
If people can't be arsed to read 2-3 minutes about a car they are likely to be owning for 2-3 years then they're probably not a serious buyer. Also, if the owner can't be arsed to write a proper review then it says to me they probably couldn't be arsed to look after their car properly.
Is it on Pistonheads?
I only looked at PH and AT when looking for mine. I would have been interested in yours judging from your ad. (although you would have been too far away from me, maybe move south... )
Not the most flattering pics though not too bad. think you are just a bit unlucky, the price seems good to me, my 2008 24k car cost me £3800 a few months ago (although virtually mint).
I don't agree with the comments about the waffley bits. They are not going to put anyone off. But make sure you bullet summarise point the main details so people don't have to read it all.
Get it on PH.
Oh, and another point. "People already know about the car"
That is a rubbish assumption to make. At this price point people are choosing on factors such as condition and running costs, they are NOT necessarily searching for a specific car, but all kinds of makes and models within a price range, so adding useful information to sell the type of car can indeed be useful for people who are not necesarily going to consult Parkers to get the exact spec or research opinions of the car.
Simply giving the basics will give the impression that the owner is not someone who has cared about the car,.
Oh and you have gone from "3 parking dings" to "There are NO dents on the car."
It can't be both. If there are dings then DON'T say there are NO dents. People will just be annoyed when they arrive to view
Sorry for a bit of a rant, just in a crap mood.
I wish, when I cane my hot hatch it goes down to sub 7mpg. :slayer:26MPG
Ouch!
There are no dents on the car, if you can find one then I'll eat my own hat.
I said it on the ad, and I'll say it on here too, I really want this car Rawb and if there was anyway I thought I could afford it - even if it meant having 3 cars on the driveway - I'd do it!
Best of luck again.
Fair enough, just confusing that YOU were the one that said there were...
I assume you had them removed then. Cool.
Look at all your options, id love to sell it to you Eklipze

I never said there were any dents, why would I say there were dents on the car if there isn't any dents on the car?
For final clarification - There are no dents on the car
