UConnect/CarPlay

hello! i bought my first 500 a couple of months ago, its a 2016 (facelift) with the touchscreen media system thingy, and one of the buttons on the screen is for uconnect, but i've tried to download that to my phone in the hope of being able to do like a carplay thing, or at least mirror my google maps to the screen when i'm using sat nav, but the uconnect app is saying its not longer a thing and redirects me to a mopar/stellantis page... is there a way that this can be sorted? or does my model not support carplay (or equivalent)? thanks in advance

Sorry i can’t help but was also wondering this?! Looking at possibly having to fit a new system which is a few pennies so it would be nice to avoid. Good luck!

I’m having the same problem. Did you manage to find a way around it. I was hoping to use it in the same way as you for mirroring Google maps to the screen.
