i really shouldn't own this car... it needs a proper owner.

Don't worry about it, you probably know as much as me tbh, its the best way to learn though to get out there and play, just nice to have someone there that knows what your supposed to be doing

Original timing with .8 bar of boost is to much.
you'll need to retard it for at least 10 degrees at boost.

So basically need a vernier pulley to do that, correct?

Although car is back together and i've backed off the boost, still feels as fast but there is no pinking

i think he means ignition timing.. which you have no control over. just back off the boost.
