trouble getting a program from a memory stick after crashing.

hey all,

my mother bought something on ebay, basically a program loaded on a memory stick, i ran it for the first time all ok until it crashed, closed it and tried to re-start it and windows just comes up saying the program has crashed.

the memory stick itself must be ok as it's not refusing to open or saying it's corrupt, just don't get why it would crash and then not work when nothing's changed

any ideas? any help would be very welcome!

What program was it?
Did you run a scan check before you ran the program?

You may need to change the compatability settings for it to run on 7/vista.
I would try it in XP mode, of course, ONLY after running a virus scan to make sure your not loading a trojan/malware/virus.
