Either that or they're in a neighbours house too and they've been laying down poison - but the mice have been coming into my house to die! Any idea how long mouse poison takes to de-funkt them?

Well just had a face to face with one. Didn't have anything to catch it with but did have something to stomp it with.
But I couldn't do it :bang:
Put the trap down where they'd been last and just 10 mins ago I got another. Now if I can just trap them quicker than they're breeding.....
