No Jim, I'm going to try to get it as close to original as I can, same as I did with the 127 Sport. It really worth the effort I think. Getting the floor done will be a big step forward.

Finally after 2 years the first of the paint goes on.

It was still wet when I took the photo so a bit hazy and bright, It will die down a bit.

Looking very good, I love seeing the underside of a car as clean as the top (y) Howcome you didn't do it the original grey colour?

Originallly I was going to but a couple of things changed my mind. I could get a gray that satisfied what I wanted and the red will wash well as its done in 2pak, therefore helping things last longer.

Stunning work! wish I had room to tip mine on its side too though lol. Engine bay is looking ace now, you'll have to have a clean engine to go with it though :p I'll be tackling the engine bay on mine soon ready for a new engine I might get round to building / slotting in!!

Cheers,
Si

I got very little done today as I spent over 4 hours in hospital with my Dad, he fell bringing the bin in and fractured both his hands. Not good.

Inside floor now painted with red oxide.

I also just got time to finish off the textured finish to the passenger side.

I would have done the drivers side but I just realised I dont have the hinges here, they're at the other shed.
