Technical Starter Motor

Hi all,

I would be grateful if anyone can verify the wiring for the starter motor on a 89 1.5

Red onto connector towards front of car, black onto connector towards rear of car and cable to swtich at spade connector on bottom of starter.

Does this sound right ?

You disconnected the wiring without making detailed notes of what you were doing ? You should be ashamed of yourself, I hope your mate is giving you some stick !!!

I didn't take them off .

I have spent a good bit of time checking earths, connectors, cables etc and the battery light is still staying on when started...head is melted.. so i just wanted to check the basics.

The good people on this forum must have thought it was a joke question !!!! Funnily enough I got the same response on the X1/9 owners forum....

Anway I am going back out to the shed to have another look :bang: Getting close to torching her !!!! next time i suggest restoring a fiat .................
