Technical speedo lead disconnected punto gt1

hi im new on ere, ive bought a punto gt1 with the speedo lead coming from the gearbox disconnected. its a nightmare going through speed cameras i havent got a clue where the lead connects, though its bout 500mm'ish long. can u help me gettin my speedo clock working due to this connector lead please???
