Maybe this has been covered - but have you checked the gearbox oil level?

My clutch was £120 for labour plus parts. A "back street garage" but he came well recommended and did a good job.

If the clutch action is heavy its probably on the way out. The pedal should be evenly smooth and light all the way down.

To be honest the Clutch feels alright, I think, ever since you guys have been suggesting what it could be have been keeping my eye on everything clutch related!

The clutch does feel ok, the whirring sound is now going away at the High Speeds after about 20 mins of driving, but I'm getting my mates neighbour to have a look at it when I see him on Sunday, hes a mechanic.

And hoping he can fix it whilst im on my holiday next week!

I hae had the car looked at.

No more squeeling. Gearbox Oil was low! Woopsie. everything has been looked at and it needs an oil change and filter, along with timing belt as its done 66500 miles. So its all getting done in the new year once i have some pennies!

But did put 2 new tyres on, and its now even better just with that!.
