Hi,
I've a problem with the auto box.....
It drives ok and all gears and functions work....BUT
When I brake whether I'm driving or stationary I can feel a clunck through the selecta stick and hear a click. If I'm in N, D , L the dash display changes to R and the door open buzzer goes off, the gearbox warning light comes on and so does the light bulb warning light. Take my foot off he brake and all returns to normal.
If I'm using the manual selecta i can still feel the clunk and hear the click but everything on the dash is as it should be.
I've just checked the fluid level in the box and it's over the max mark by about 4-5mm. I'm going to contact the garage that serviced the car but just wanted an idea if these issues are related at all.

Please has anyone come across this before......?
Cheers

P.s I know i spelt gearbox wrong at the top....!!

might sound stupid but clean the connectors on the rear light clusters and if memory serves me right the nearside rear cluster will be the culprit. you need to remove the speaker box in the boot, use special tool to get castlelated securing nuts off the light clusters and then lift away and clean the connector with WD 40...worked for me
