General Saggy door

General Saggy door

No but I heard MG F's used to sag when you put the roof down. A friend always had to get his doors reset. You should be able to adjust and tighten at the hinge.

Not got the car here at the minute as the wife is at work but can you not just adjust the striker on the B pillar.

Now fixed. The door had cracked where the hinge is attached. My local garage took the door off (you don't have to take the wing off!) & welded it.

That was just £45 (of a massive £1000 bill to replace everything on the back brakes + a clutch + a dual mass flywheel + a load of other stuff + a service).

I've checked my records and I've hardly spent anything on it for 4 years, so that's not too terrible. I shall have to keep it for another 4 years!
