Technical Passenger door wiring loom change

Hello all. I have a 2006 120 multijet eleganza. I have sourced a used nearside front door ( due to a no fault accident) but i have a problem. The mirror loom in my door on the car, is the 9 pin plug but on the replacement it has the 7 pin connector. Can the loom inside the door just be swapped over, putting my 9 pin plugged wire into the replacement door. Thanks.

Without actually seeing it as long as all the other wiring connections on the lòom are the same I would think you are ok just to swap the loom over.
Different looms fitted for different specs usually.
