Technical Remote central locking

Arrived and work and locked my car with the button...

Got on my lunch and went to the car and button would no longer open the car.

Checked the key battery with a multimeter and it's giving out 3.2v so don't think it's the battery...

Are there fuses to check? Any home remedies anyone can advise on?

The key(s) need re-aligning to the car with MES. You would need to get the car's security codes from a dealer.

Someone may have been playing with buttons if unattended, causing the rolling code to come out of sync with the car.

Code will be £15+VAT from main dealer (Thats what mine charges).

I'd question them to ask how they justify that for a 10min admin job. All they do is get it from the ISR and get charged about £10 to do so.

Might be worth going direct yourself with a FOI request under the DPA

Correct, late night and confusing 2 different things. It's a SAR under sect 7 of the DPA that it could potentially be requested under.

A Subject Access Request is just the requestor's act of requesting the information from the relevant body. It doesn't confer any additional rights.

It could also be argued that data relating to car codes would not be considered as "personal data" within the meaning of the Act.
